Land Acknowledgment

Yukon Protective Services acknowledges that our offices and operations are situated on the traditional and treaty territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation and the Williams Treaties Nations, including the Alderville First Nation, Hiawatha First Nation, Curve Lake First Nation, and the Chippewa Nations of Georgina Island, Beausoleil, and Rama. These lands have been home to Indigenous peoples for thousands of years, and we recognize their deep and enduring connection to this territory.

We also acknowledge that many of the communities we serve across Ontario exist within the broader territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Huron-Wendat peoples, whose histories, languages, and cultures have shaped this land long before the arrival of settlers.

As a company whose mission is built on protection, trust, and service, we understand that true safety extends beyond physical security, it means standing for the dignity and rights of all people. We are committed to honouring the First Peoples of these lands, recognizing their ongoing stewardship, and contributing meaningfully to the journey of reconciliation.
